OOTD 19/04/2012 The androgynous look

I promised myself I'd never let my blog be just about what I wear, but about arts, style, lifestyle, music as well. But lately I've been kind of lazy. Hopefully inspiration will hit me soon. Until then though, I will post Outfits Of The Day(OOTD).

Today I went for the androgynous look. It's been trending for a while now, and I love it. I've always been a big fan of Blazers, biker jackets and man-ish loafers. but I've never tried a tie before. Here I'm rocking a hand-made bow tie.

Love Mr West's style. He's an obvious choice for my androgynous look.

Me today
Not a lot of thought goes into what I wear, most times I'm dictated by what's clean and what's not on my cupboard. Not right I know, but gosh I hate doing laundry.lol...

did my hair last weekend. Afro-like extensions using 'soft dread' fibre

So I took some time off work last week. I went and spent it with my family in Mthatha. Due to the irregular hours I work, I am unable to have my son stay with me full-time. So every free moment I get, I spend with him and the rest of my family.

Before leaving for Mthatha on Sunday, I went out with my two girls Lerato Pholo and Vuvu Vena and her two sisters. We went to Bora Bora, a nice restaurant by the beach not too far from my place. Below is my look for that night. It was freezing and I had flu.
